Local Pumpkin Patches Near Hayward

It’s that time of year when there’s a nip in the air, beautiful colors on every tree, and lots of fall fun to be had. The pumpkin patches near Rice Lake have it all, from hay rides to corn mazes and animal petting zoos. Take a break from football and bring the whole family out to Rice Lake-area pumpkin patches. The kids will love it, and some bracing fall air will do everyone good. They’re also ideal places for couples on a date. Make time to visit one, or all, of the following local patches.

Mommsen’s Harvest Hills Pumpkin Patch

Mommsen’s Harvest Hills Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard is an institution in the Hayward area. Located near Hayward, Mommsen’s is on a sprawling 40-acre farm that has something for everyone in the family to enjoy, including two corn mazes, pumpkin artillery, local crafts, a kids’ entertainment area, weekend hayrides, and much more! Mommsen’s is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm until October 31.

Burch Barn Pumpkin Patch

The Burch Barn Pumpkin Patch is a great fall destination for families, a place for making memories and enjoying hours of quality time together. From its rustic white barn entrance to the bounce houses and gunny sack slide, you may find yourself making a trip to Burch Barn Pumpkin Patch an annual family event. Don’t forget the giant corn pit, pedal carts, grain train ride, and petting zoo during your visit. Open Fridays and Saturdays 10 am to 5:30 pm; Sundays from 11 am to 5:30 pm.

Govin’s Farm Pumpkin Patch

If you like a little Halloween adventure this time of year, head out to Govin’s Farm Pumpkin Patch. Govin’s features plenty of after-dark fun on the haunted trail, in the corn maze by flashlight, and marshmallow roasting by the bonfire. The Haunted Trail is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10 pm from September 29 to October 30 for visitors 14 and over (must be accompanied by an adult if younger). And don’t miss the flying farmer line, giant Jenga, tractor pull, spikeball, and more during your visit.
